KanonxKanon’s concert in London saw the attending British fans dressing for the occasion in a variety of Japanese inspired visual and lolita styles. Rokkyuu were there to snap the outfits and get the girls to tell us a little bit about their style for the day:

  Rosanna (L) and Wai-Yi (R)

Rosanna: I’m in a fur-trimmed checked winter jumperskirt with Chocomint and offbrand accessories and Bodyline bow boots.

Wai-Yi: I am wearing a Vampire Requiem replica skirt from Oo Jia in a casual gothic loli style – gigs aren’t the place for “burando”! Everything else I’m wearing is offbrand.

                                                                                                                                    Charlotte (L) and Beau (R)

Charlotte: My style of gothic lolita. The print on my skirt is Vampire Requiem and my  black headbow is handmade. My shoes are from GLP.

Beau: I’m in a cyber-rave style. The boot covers and corset are handmade, and my boots are “New Rocks”. The jacket is from Vibe, the headphones are from Skullcandy and my tights are from Pamela Mann.

 Jennifer (L) and Claire (R)

Jennifer: My outfit is a sweet style with lots of pink mixed with an Alice theme.

Claire: I’m dressed in a casual gothic style, mixing my punk style clothes with my gothic lolita dress.

Sarah began her journey into the world of Japanese music courtesy of L'Arc-en-Ciel back in the year 2000. Since then, she has combined a love of music and music journalism into writing for European Japanese music magazines and assisting with Japanese interest events in the UK. After graduating in Law from the University of Nottingham, she put 'the law-thing' on the backburner to dive into the live scene in Tokyo for 3 years. Sarah returned to the UK in September 2010 to do that 'law-thing' and now works for a Japanese bank in London. Her heart is always in the music and fashion in Tokyo and her life is balanced between her time in the UK and Japan. When she has time, she also blogs at http://lifeismerodii.blogspot.com
