The 9th Harajuku Fashion Walk took place on March 25th as fans of Japanese subculture styles of all stripes set out to show their favorite coordinates in a parade through the home of Japanese street fashion.

Gothic, punk, decora, lolita, no style was left out! Though they weren’t participating in the parade, we even managed to find an example of traditional Japanese fashion. With the Takeshita shopping street right next to Meiji Shrine, Harajuku truly is a place where cultures collide.

Everyone had a personal take on “Harajuku Fashion.”

Check out the accessories!

Several lolitas used the opportunity to show off their doll-like sweet and classic coordinates.

Quite a striking parade!

The Harajuku Fashion Walk is a regular event, and anyone can participate! The group’s homepage appears to be down at the moment, but they’re active on twitter and facebook, so follow or like them to find out when the next parade will be. To see more amazing outfits check out the gallery!
