A(Ace) evilalive Exclusive Interview: Mucho Gracias (日本語あり)

Following their very first one-man at Ikebukuro Cyber, ROKKYUU had a few questions for A(Ace) and Mucho Gracias surprised us with English answers!

About your first oneman.

69: How did you like your first oneman?
(初ワンマンライブはどうでしたか？)
Mucho Gracias:Just like heaven!
(天国みたい！)

69: What song did you feel made the  best impression?　Which did you enjoy the most?
(一番印象残っている曲はどの曲でしたか？自分とって一番楽しい曲はなんでしたか？)
Mucho Gracias:Most  impression song was “Ouvertura.” Everyone was singing the words “Lei dovrebbe Volare via“. Fantastic big chorus!! I enjoyed “Grafton Calling” the most! Everybody was jumping around!!
(一番印象に残っているのはOuvertura。みんな一緒に“Lei dovrebbe Volare via“を大きい声で歌ってて素晴らしかった。一番楽しかったのはGrafton Calling！、みんな飛び回ってましたね。)

69: What songs would you have liked to have played if you had the time?
(時間がもうちょっとあったとしたら、やりたかった曲はありますか？)
Mucho Gracias: “God Child!” Heavy and powerful song! I like it!
(God Child! ヘビーでパワーがある曲で気に入ってます！)

69: What memory sticks with you even now?
(あの日の一番印象深い思い出は何ですか？)
Mucho Gracias: The sight from the stage!　Every face was bright with joy!
(ステージから見たファンの明るい顔！)

69: Do you have any regrets? Or are you completely satisfied?
(ライブ終えて何かやり残してしまったものはありますか？それとも、全くないですか？)
Mucho Gracias: I did my best!! Nothing to regret.
(一生懸命頑張った、後悔するもんか！)

69: What are the lyrics in the repeating section of “Ouvertura” and what do they mean?
(“Ouvertura”の中で繰り返し歌われている歌詞について教えてくれますか？その歌詞はどういう意味でしょうか？)
Mucho Gracias:“Lei dovrebbe Volare via“ means you can fly!
(“Lei dovrebbe Volare via”は「飛べる」という意味です。)

69: Please tell us about ‘Ace Day’ (Ace no hi.)
(エースの日というのはなんですか？)
Mucho Gracias: A＝１ So 11/11 is the ‘Ace Day’ lol
(A=1.　だから11/11はエースの日（笑）)

69: Should the crowd expect any surprises at the free live on 11/11?
(11/11、エースの日のライブについて期待すべきことはありますか？)
Mucho Gracias:It’s free live !! No charge!! Yeah!!

69: Mucho Gracias, you used an interesting technique, tapping on the body of the guitar during your solo. Was that a Spanish guitar technique?
(Mucho Graciasさん、ギターソロの時に指でギターの本体を叩いてましたね。Spanishギターのテクニックですか？)
Mucho Gracias:Yes I emulate the Spanish guitar technique!!
(はい、スペインスパニッシュギターのテクニックを取り入れました！)

69: Were there any difficult points in making and performing the world music of the White Album?
(ホワイトアルバムのワールド音楽の作曲や演奏で難しいところはありましたか？)
Mucho Gracias: Expressing the each worlds atmosphere was the most tough point.
(それぞれの国の雰囲気をちゃんと表現するのは難しかった。)

69: Is there any other ethnic music you would like to try your hand at?
(ほかのワールド音楽でやってみたいと思うものはありますか？)
Mucho Gracias: Brazil! BossaNova!!
(ブラジル！Bossa Nova!!)

69: Mucho Gracias, we saw you eat one of those bubbles. We were wondering how did it taste?
(Mucho Graciasさんはシャボン玉の一つを食べてましたね．．．その味の感想は？)
Mucho Gracias: So sweet!!
(甘かった！)

69: Was that the strangest thing you’ve ever put in your mouth? Can any of the other members beat that?
(今まで口に入れたものの中で、一番変なものだったでしょうか？それに勝るものを口にしていたりしてますか？)
Mucho Gracias: A devil of wasabi…

69: Speaking of imbibing liquids onstage… Mucho Gracias, what is that mysterious red drink of yours?
(ステージの上で「飲むこと」と言えば．．．Mucho Graciasさんの不思議な赤いドリンクですよね。その赤いドリンクはいったいなんでしょうか？)
Mucho Gracias: Of course Tabasco!!

69: Is there a story behind the stuffed snake and the monkey we saw onstage?
(ライブに登場してくるぬいぐるみ（お猿さんと蛇さん）にまつわる話はありますか？)
Mucho Gracias: They are my family!!
(俺の家族だ！)

Concerning A(Ace).
A(エース) について。

69: Whose idea was “Hearty’s” and how did you come up with it?
(ファンの呼び方、「Heartys」、はだれのアイデアでしたか？どうやって決まりました？)
Mucho Gracias: I think it the idea was from Nimo!! We love the sound「Hearty」.
(Nimoだと思う！[Hearty]の響きが大好きです。)

69: Did you have any personal input in the design of your costumes?　What are your favorite points of each costume?
(衣装のデザインには個人的な好みはどれ位入っていますか？それぞれの衣装の好きなポイントはなんですか？)
Mucho Gracias: I love it!! Mostly the sexy lace shirt.
(超気に入ってます！特に、セクシーなレースシャツ。)

69: Have any of you been sailing, or otherwise been on a boat before? How was it?
(セーリングしたり、船に乗ったことはありますか？乗った感想を教えて下さい。)
Mucho Gracias: Yes. The sea was so beautiful!!
(うん、海はきれいだった！)

69: What would be your buried treasure?
(Mucho Graciasさんの宝物はなんですか？)
Mucho Gracias: Pure heart! lol

69: Having sold out of your two concept albums and succeeded at your first one-man, what’s your next port of call?
(コンセプトアルバムが完売し、ワンマンも成功されましたね。Aの次の目標はなんでしょうか？)
Mucho Gracias: Global expansion!!
