Dear Rockers,

I hope you’re rocking on this June 9th. (In the Japanese way, 6/9.)

It’s been three months since we came back online to share the ins and outs of VK with the world. Since then,we’ve been proud to publish an exciting range of articles spanning the giants of VK such as X JAPAN, DIR EN GREY and renowned designer, h.Naoto and the promising newcomers like Thomas and ReivieЯ. Of course, we haven’t been idle in the middle ground either, keeping tabs on the fashion world and chatting with the likes of Deathgaze.

Twenty-eleven has brought many interesting developments so far with the movie Maebashi Visual Kei, the hide-themed musical Rock Musical Pink Spider, the VK club night Viju Love Night, and a new trend of live streamed concerts via MUCC and L’Arc~en~Ciel.We also made our peace with Daisuke and Zill with the albums Shikkoku no hikari and Apples.

However,we’re only halfway through the year. Not to be missed are coming events like the Summer Sonic music festival appearances of X JAPAN and The GazettE and, of course, the return of V-Rock Festival this year to be held at Saitama Super Arena.

Will you rock with us?

In the three months since ROKKYUU‘s revival,we’ve reached an ironic 96 different countries with thousands viewing from around the world. There’s plenty more in the works for the coming months, so keep your eyes peeled!
