Who knew such hardcore VK bands could be so warm and fuzzy on the inside? Okay, so maybe we had a clue or two... but now we have solid proof!

In reaction to the Tohoku-kanto Great Earthquake, a charity concert will be held at Nanba Hatch in Osaka on Friday, March 18.

Sadie, who were originally scheduled to appear at the same live-house, same date for their 6th anniversary oneman, put their own concert on hold to be replaced by this event. They will appear alongside GNz-WORD, rin and awoi free of charge (although the ¥500 drink ticket will remain in place.) Be aware that entrance will be refused once the venue is full in order to comply with fire safety regulations.

So, if getting in is free, where does the “charity” come in?

Like many concerts currently being held in the kansai region or overseas, a charity box will be set up for donations and the gathered money will be sent to the Japanese Red Cross Society. Goods will also be sold with proceeds going to charity to support those in need.

For those who wish to attend:

Tickets for the concert will be distributed from 1:00 pm on Friday, March 18 at the 3rd floor entrance of Nanba Hatch. Doors open at 5:30 pm, and the concert begins at 6:00 pm.

ROKKYUU extend our thanks to all those involved and encourage your kind donations!

(After all… You know you want those goods!)
