Following activity across Japan in 2011, the hide themed event, hide presents Our Pink Spider 2012, will be making its overseas debut in Singapore on February 11. Having begun in 2011, the event differs from those produced in the past by hide’s management company by encompassing people everywhere. The concept is that each artist involved will play at least two hide cover songs and under that condition, any artist can participate.

The term Our Pink Spider refers to hide’s notorious ‘pink spider’ image, meaning that hide belongs to everyone now. The title is infused with the wish that the thread the pink spider hide spins will act as a link between people who love him and create a worldwide network.

This time, the event is being arranged by keyboardist and vocalist DIE (Ra:IN, ex-hide with Spread Beaver) and MAD Ohuchi as the unit KISS THE WORLD. Performing energetically in Japan, the duo will now head to Singapore to perform both their original songs and covers of hide, their selections awaited in high anticipation.

The event will take place at the CRAZY ELEPHANT on February 11, beginning at 6pm with doors open at 5pm. Don’t miss this chance to hear the music of a rock legend performed live by a highly reputed duo!
