An independent act since 2007, Kiryu (己龍) has recently signed up with a new label called B.P. Records.

Attachment to a label enables Kiryu to pursue a venture long-coveted by fans: On October 21 2009, Kiryu will release their third maxi single and their first music video. The release is titled「月ノ姫」(tsuki no hime, or Princess of the Moon) and will be available in three formats:

  • Type A includes the title song as well as “song B.” This version features the music video and an intimate “making of” that corresponds with the release. Also included is a “receipt ticket ‘Type A’” that can be exchanged for a DVD at Shibuya O-West on December 7.
  • Type B replaces “song B” with “song C” and features a live DVD, including three songs from the May 15 oneman at Takadanobaba Area. This version comes with “receipt ticket ‘Type B.’”
  • Type C includes all three songs, but features no DVD footage.

So what’s happening at Shibuya O-West on December 7? Kiryu are holding a oneman live, of course! And anyone who attends will receive a free CD by the currently untitled band that Kiryu plans to form under the new label.
