11-11-11? For some people it was a lucky day, for others in Japan it meant the stick-like snacks Pocky and Pretz. For fans of the band A(Ace) however, the day had a different meaning. Entitled Thanksgiving Day, the band put on a special show for their fans and ROKKYUU were on deck to document the voyage.

As the lights went down, an ominous voice issued a cackle. “Oh! Looks like everyone has gathered! I can’t guarantee you’ll keep your lives. Still here? Impressive. I guess you aren’t bothered about losing your lives, then. Well, let me teach you something: If you combine your hearts and put your all into it, you might just make it through. Oh! Looks like ‘those Gguys’ are on their way… Make sure you set sail without regrets!”

Reviewing such a broad and eclectic sound as A(Ace) whip up on their new single Black Butterfly is not an enviable task, I can assure you. With so much going on in every musical direction, it gets a little busy at times but the overall result is a musical smorgasbord that will leave you full and happy as long as you don’t overeat.

Five bands gathered at Shibuya O-West on June 25 for the debut of the Blue Planet Japan (B.P.J) Alliance. The founders, DaizyStripper, FEST VAINQUEUR and A(Ace) were joined by like-minded artists, Dolly and heidi. for a concert to promote the project. Bright blue rubber wristbands in support of the charity were handed out to everyone who entered the venue and even worn during the show by the performers
