On August 21, Shibuya AX was packed for DaizyStripper’s only 2011 oneman live, titled SIX BLESS. Fans gathered around the hall, buying goods and snacking on special DaizyStripper shaved ice which included original flavors such as “Taste of Yu-Giri’s Forbidden Holy Water” and Mayu’s “Cherry Boy (virgin) Paradise.” At 6 pm, quiet fell over the crowd as a projection of DaizyStripper’s logo appeared on the curtain. An English voiceover intoned, “We’ve been looking forward to being here, right here, right this moment. We love every single person. Thank you - DaizyStripper.”

DaizyStripper are definitely on the visual side of visual kei, but they have far more to offer than a round of pretty smiles. With a versatile range from sweet to funky to heavy, DaizyStripper are serious about the music they make--but that's not all! They're also dead serious about using their popularity for the greater good. In a thoroughly entertaining and revealing interview, ROKKYUU learned all about the Blue Planet Japan charity project and much, much more.

DaizyStripper’s third full album BLESS is a fascinating collection of music with so many different styles it’s difficult to decide where to begin. The very first track, “Adam,” falls under the category of “typical DaizyStripper” although it has a trippy feel with loose guitar and echoed verses laid over the voice track. For that undeniable DaizyStripper sound, on the other hand, you’ll want to listen to the super cheerful track six, “Diamond Glitter”
